Gillespie- Emmett R. Gillespie, 76, 16 Mill St., Binghamton, died Sunday unexpectedly at this home. He is survived by three sons, Col. William J. Gillespie and Donald J. Gillespie, both of Miami, Fla., and Jack R. Gillespie of Chenango Forks; a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Betty) Fiato, Binghamton; 2 sisters, Mrs. May Cook; Reading, PA and Mrs. May Cook; Reading, PA and Mrs. Joseph (Nellie) Henzer, Clinton; nine grandchildren; also several nieces. Friends may call at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, 137 Robinson St. Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. Funeral arrangements are pending.
