the apple producing territory as the apple king.

He was a member of the Chicago Athletic Club the South Shore Country Club and the Los Angeles Cal Athletic and Country Clubs having large personal interests in Los Angeles He was also afliliated with the Alumnae of the University of Michigan and was a member of the Chicago Board of Trade for many years. He is survived by his widow. The business of E. Henning, Inc., 105 South La Salle Street, Chicago which is a continuation of that founded by David Henning in 1856 will be carried on as heretofore and the investment Mr. Henning had in the company will also remain in it Mr. M Taafie being named by his will as
executor of the estate to serve without bond Mr. Henning was a liberal contributor to all deserving charities irrespective of creed or nationality. He was held in high esteem by all his friends in the cooperage business in which he was very well known some years ago having been an important factor in the eighteen hundred and eighties when he succeeded to that part of the business on the death of his father.
