Mary Eleanor Evans - Kitchell (1852 - 1913)

Mary Eleanor Evans was born December 16, 1852 in Indiana, the daughter of James Evans and Mary Waite. Mary married Oscar Kitchell, son of John Newton Kitchell and Nancy Sargent, circa 1881 in Indiana. The couple removed from Valparaiso, Indiana to Chicago, Illinois. Mary died before her husband Oscar on January 13, 1913 at the age of 60 years old. She is buried with her Oscar in Maplewood Cemetery at Valparaiso, Porter County, Indiana. No children have been found to date.
