Sarah Bruen was born circa 1679 in either Massachusetts or New Jersey, the daughter of John Bruen and Esther Lawrence. Sarah married Abraham Kitchel.
She died at the age of 66 years on April 30, 1745 at Morris County, New Jersey and is buried with her husband in the Whippany Burial Yard at Whippany, Morris County, New Jersey.
