William V Tunis (1846 - 1924)

William VanSant Tunis was my gr-gr-gr- grandmother Harriett Tunis' brother.
Harriett was married to Hudson Kitchell.

William VanSant Tunis 

William VanSant Tunis was born October 18, 1846 in New Jersey, the son of  William W. Tunis (1814 - 1894) and Sarah Shawger (1812 - 1877). He married Emily N. Barnard, a native of Syracuse, New York, the daughter of Warner Barnard and Catherine Rouse (1843 - 1928) in March of 1870.

William died on January 26, 1924 and was laid to rest in the Tunis family plot at John Hancock Cemetery, Florham Park, Morris County, New Jersey.
